As part of our Energy Landscape Series, Energy Systems Catapult has identified over 60 companies in its first scoping of the UK’s Hydrogen Landscape. We are calling on UK businesses to review the first scoping of this infographic to suggest any additional subsectors which can be incorporated and to identify where they should be classified in the landscape.

The Department for Transport (DfT) launched a consultation on amending the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (RTFO) to increase carbon savings on land, air and at sea. The DfT proposes altering the RTFO for greater carbon savings by revised renewable targets, recycled carbon and non-biological fuel amounts, plus its role in maritime.
Electric vehicle sales are rising from a very low level. Uptake needs to spread beyond early adopters to the entire market. But around 30% of UK households have no access to off-street parking. This paper reports research exploring charging options for these households.

The UK-India Green Business Portfolio features 24 British and Indian companies who are bringing innovative approaches to improving air quality, measuring pollution levels, and reducing traffic emissions by accelerating the transition to electric vehicles.
The Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce made 21 proposals in January 2020 to ensure the energy system is able to accelerate the mass take-up of electric vehicles,. Energy Systems Catapult was central to analysing those proposals and recommending EVET focus on 10 high priority actions.
