Energy Systems Catapult speaking at the Everything EV Digital Series

Energy Systems Catapult’s Business Leader for Consumer Insight, Matthew Lipson, is taking part in the Everything EV Digital Series on 9th July 2020 as part of a panel discussing decarbonising road transport through fleet electrification, charging infrastructure and energy strategies.

This virtual event is part of Solar Media’s first EverythingEV Digital Series focussing on the decarbonisation of road transport.

Attendance at the online panels and presentations is free, and includes topics such as fleet electrification, charging infrastructure and energy strategies to reduce grid demands.

Matthew is taking part in a panel alongside Rajni Nair, Senior Policy Researcher, Energy Team, Citizens Advice and Phillip Sellwood, Director, Energy Saving Trust and will explore how V2G will transform consumer’s energy usage and behaviour, including:

  • Outlining the behaviour changes and infrastructure changes for consumers that present a barrier for the mass adoption of V2G
  • Proposing how to standardise costs and usage for customers across different DNOs, and the policies needed to achieve equality of usage
  • Examining the economic value of V2G to consumers, and the new markets that this service could open
