Public Sector Executive: Net Zero Government Conference

Published: 15 January 2021

The head of the Modern Energy Partnership programme at the Catapult, Christine St John Cox, is presenting at the Public Sector Executive: Net Zero Government Conference on 10 March 2021.

Public Sector Executive is aiming to address some of the challenges faced by public sector bodies, creating a forum of information and content by peers for peers to share experiences, best practice and solutions.

The first of these virtual events are focussed on Net-Zero Government, where this leaders’ debate will discuss how we tackle decarbonisation of the public sector estate. Christine will draw on the Catapult’s work, progress and learnings from the Modern Energy Partners programme, which is being delivered in partnership with BEIS and the Cabinet office and is focused on enabling the public sector to meet its 2032 50% direct emissions reduction target (against at 2017 baseline).

The programme is currently testing out a systematic approach for the development of decarbonisation plans, the rapid deployment of submetering, and the implementation of the first steps of decarbonisation on a cohort of 42 sites from MOD, Health, MOJ, HMRC, and HEI.

This event is taking place remotely via online channels. To sign up or find out more about the event, click on the booking link on the right of this page.
