The exhibition will host new zones and features, designed to Accelerate Delivery – for a digitally enabled net zero future.

Sam Young, Practice Manager for Data Science and AI at the Catapult will be speaking at Utility Week Live on the topic of ‘Optimising assets through automation, AI and digital tools’.  Sam is focused on maximising the energy sector’s ability to use AI to accelerate Net Zero. His work ranges from cutting-edge research applying AI to specific energy problems to leading cross-sector initiatives to identify and remove barriers to the effective use of AI. Prior to joining the Catapult, Sam managed the Data Science team at National Grid Electricity Transmission where he led a team applying data and AI to condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and outage scheduling.
