Energy Systems Catapult is calling for Expressions of Interest from UK energy firms to work with the Catapult and a Japanese or Spanish partner on an innovative idea they would like to develop.
Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is investing £1 million to fund UK businesses leading collaborative research and development (R&D) projects under the EUREKA programme.
EUREKA are are the world’s biggest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation, present in over 45 countries.
This funding is for projects to develop a new and innovative product, industrial process or service, co-ordinated by a lead partner from the UK (the Catapult) and a lead partner in-country.
Energy Systems Catapult has been engaging with both Japan and Spain as a priority countries prior to this opportunity, and can support applicants to develop joint proposals and find partners. Examples of the kind of support we can offer is:
