Energy Systems Catapult is sponsoring the Advancing Innovation Award at the Community Energy Awards.

This ceremony brings together individuals, organisations, and initiatives that are making significant contributions to the advancement of sustainable and locally-driven energy solutions.

The Advancing Innovation Award ‘recognises all innovative projects, services, or business models where there’s a need to adapt rapidly. It’s about achieving success, whilst doing things differently in the community energy sector.’ 

To nominate your organisation for this award, you must demonstrate as many of the following as possible:

1.  Forward-thinking approach(es) in your project, service, business model or funding.
2. Working with multiple stakeholders and partners.
3. New technology/ integration with other technologies.
4. Sharing learning and expertise.
5. Creative approach to problem solving.

The awards highlight innovative projects, inspiring leaders, and impactful initiatives shaping the future of community energy. With various categories that cover a wide range of achievements, the event showcases the diverse efforts and successes within the sector.

Nominations are open to Community Energy England (CEE) members and those connected to members and can be submitted here.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 13 September.
