    • Workshop on energy systems attended by Singaporean organisations run by Energy Systems Catapult and EcoLabs from Nanyang Technical University (April 3 and 4).

AI and urban sustainability

Energy Systems Catapult is launching a challenge call available to UK start-ups with strong connections to UK universities and with a focus related to the use of AI in urban sustainability and energy

The challenge call is to identify start-ups that can benefit from meeting Singaporean counterparts and working to develop collaborative project scopes that can deliver to meet the needs of Singaporean agencies and corporations.  This will also lay the groundwork for broader commercial collaboration under the UK-Singapore Green Economy Framework.

The innovators submitting to the programme must be available to travel the week of March 31st and be prepared to actively engage with Singaporean businesses and partners to identify opportunities for collaboration.  The Catapult will assist in supporting time to meet with these potential partners in addition to the conference being hosted by Newcastle University and the Aspects of Integration Workshop.

The Catapult is keen to hear from companies that are leveraging AI to resolve urban sustainability in energy and transportation as well as key technologies that can accelerate a decarbonised urban environment.  As a key transportation route in the Pacific this also includes technologies that could be deployed within airports and maritime.

Applicants that are not successful in their application will be considered as part of identifying Singaporean partners and facilitated virtual introductions will be held where appropriate matches are identified.

We are accepting applications from start-ups that have products and services to solve these three specific areas:

  1. AI energy applications
  2. Urban energy sustainability
  3. Urban sustainable transport solutions

What does the application process look like?

  1. Please fill out the following form with your contact details below.
