Energy Systems Catapult is seeking innovators with strong connections to UK universities, whether as spinouts, research collaborators, or representatives of university-driven innovation, to join us for a week-long programme of events in Singapore, starting March 31. These events will facilitate knowledge sharing between leading UK and Singaporean companies and academics in AI and energy sustainability. The sessions will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges and innovation opportunities in Singapore, as well as identifying potential partner companies for collaboration.

Energy Systems Catapult is launching a challenge call available to UK start-ups with strong connections to UK universities and with a focus related to the use of AI in urban sustainability and energy
The challenge call is to identify start-ups that can benefit from meeting Singaporean counterparts and working to develop collaborative project scopes that can deliver to meet the needs of Singaporean agencies and corporations. This will also lay the groundwork for broader commercial collaboration under the UK-Singapore Green Economy Framework.
The innovators submitting to the programme must be available to travel the week of March 31st and be prepared to actively engage with Singaporean businesses and partners to identify opportunities for collaboration. The Catapult will assist in supporting time to meet with these potential partners in addition to the conference being hosted by Newcastle University and the Aspects of Integration Workshop.
The Catapult is keen to hear from companies that are leveraging AI to resolve urban sustainability in energy and transportation as well as key technologies that can accelerate a decarbonised urban environment. As a key transportation route in the Pacific this also includes technologies that could be deployed within airports and maritime.
Applicants that are not successful in their application will be considered as part of identifying Singaporean partners and facilitated virtual introductions will be held where appropriate matches are identified.
