As part of the eFREIGHT 2030 project, funded by UK government, Energy Systems Catapult are hosting the Powering the HGV transition workshop.

Using real-world experiences and insights from the Catapult’s extensive modelling, research and the stakeholder engagement conducted throughout the eFREIGHT 2030 project, the workshop will bring together industry leaders from the freight and energy sectors.

Starting with the national picture of what electrified HGVs will mean for the networks at large, before diving into site specific challenges and potential solutions to provide success for all, this will be a truly collaborative workshop.

Bringing together lessons and insights from fleets, charging providers and networks, we aim to build a foundation for action for a future of decarbonised road freight in the UK, supported by a robust electricity system ready to support the transition.
