Meet Robert Davis

Robert Davis is currently the Group CEO of EA Technology, UK-based power engineering specialists that have grown threefold over recent years and have seen their energy technologies adopted around the world. He sits on the Cheshire and Warrington Enterprise Partnership and is responsible for sub-regional economic development. Robert recently co-founded the Cheshire Energy Hub whose aim is to exploit opportunities for collaboration between major energy users, technology providers and network operators. He is the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Asset Management and was the Champion for the theme of Asset Management in the electricity industry’s Powering Improvement Programme. Robert was also the Founder of the Energy Innovation Centre which continues to bring energy technology companies together with gas and electricity utilities in the UK and more recently around the world.

Robert’s passion is building organisations that make the world a better place, which qualifies him well in his role on the Energy Systems Catapult Board as it becomes established. The organisations he has worked with over the last 20 years have all had direct involvement in energy systems and specifically in the development and commercialisation of new technologies.

Robert is a Life Fellow at The Institute of Asset Management, a Freeman of the City of London and Deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire. He has a BA (Hons) from Nottingham University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from the European Business School and a CIM Diploma in Marketing.
