Gerry Newton-Cross is Commercial Director at Energy Systems Catapult.

Meet Gerry Newton-Cross

Gerry leads our multi-disciplinary Platforms, responsible for supporting innovators, and public and private sector clients to tackle the challenge of transitioning to Net Zero and ensuring UK businesses capture the opportunities of clean growth. Gerry specialises in the development of interdisciplinary R&D/innovation solutions required for the transformation and decarbonisation of our energy system.

Prior to joining Energy Systems Catapult, Gerry’s career included establishing the Marine and Bioenergy Technology Programmes at the Energy Technologies Institute; overseeing the Environment Agency’s Sustainable Resource Use Science Programme, and working at the Waste and Resources Action Programme in Policy & Evaluation.
