7-9/06/2022 - FOOTPRINT+ Brighton

FOOTPRINT+ will gather representatives from every sector of the UK property market to discuss, discover and how to action state of the art methods to achieve Net Zero in real estate.

Our exhibition space enables stakeholders and experts to meet face-to-face, learn from each other and build the relationships required for putting sustainable solutions into practice.

The event will be attended by developers, local authorities, housing associations, investors and the managers of large estates like the NHS, supermarkets and logistics companies, all of whom must radically reduce their buildings’ carbon emissions.

Richard Halsey (Capabilities Director) and Rebecca Sweeney (Business Leader – Homes) will be speaking at this event on 7th-9th June 2022 in the following panels:

Local area energy planning

How can groups of local authorities provide plan for large-scale transitions such as gas conversion to hydrogen?

Richard Halsey, Capabilities Director – Catapult Energy Systems

Dan Epstein, Principal Environmental Sustainability Officer – OPDC

A whole systems approach for net zero

No single solution is the answer to decarbonisation, energy sources are interdependent and every part of society must engage to meet net zero 2050 targets. What is housing’s contribution to net-zero and our role in convincing policymakers of where and when they need to act? How can we lead in the net zero revolution to overcome immediate challenges and work across sectors to implement lasting change?

Rebecca Sweeney, Business Leaders – Home – Energy Systems Catapult
