We share our journey of bringing usable data science to commercial settings, helping organisations find actionable energy reduction insights, and considering the organisational and contextual barriers to achieving energy reductions.

• Prof Adrian Friday is a Professor of Computing and Sustainability at Lancaster University working on how ICT can be best utilised to help realise low carbon and sustainable futures.
• Dr Christian Remy is an Interactions Designer making data science tools usable for people working to reduce energy demand and hit Net Zero targets.
• Dr Oliver Bates is a researcher and designer who is looking at why organisations bounce off of energy demand reduction tools, and the power of more collaborative approaches to energy demand reduction.
• Dr Christina Bremer is a researcher in sustainable human-computer interaction/computing, looking at how to limit the environmental impacts of ICT and use ICT to create sustainable futures.
