Modernising Energy Data Applications Public Show and Tell

Published: 28 May 2021

Utilising energy data is key to develop resilient local energy systems, integrating intermittent renewable energy and lowering the whole system cost.

Through the Modernising Energy Data Application competition, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has funded nine innovative projects to develop new products and user-centric services using energy data. A range of new applications has been proposed to deal with some of the biggest challenges of the energy transition such as electric vehicles’ uptake, facilitated design of district heating networks, local area energy planning, indoor farming, gas meter leaks detections, and fuel poverty.

Register to learn what are the challenges that these projects have faced, what they have learnt, and what they have managed to achieve.

The projects will give nine 30-minute presentations over 3 days.
