A Guide to Energy Sector Testing & Demonstration Facilities
This guide has been created to provide the energy sector with a broader understanding of the more than 30 organisations running test & demonstration facilities at over 80 sites both in the UK and overseas.
Integrating more innovations into the energy system is vital to accelerating the transformation of the sector and this guide is intended to act as a reference resource for businesses of all sizes.
First published in December 2017 and updated in August 2019, the guide was created by the Energy Innovation Centre and Energy Systems Catapult to help innovators navigate a critical element of the development process – proving that an innovation works.
To do this, innovators may need to test and demonstrate their product or technology within a certain environment that they are unable to construct, or regulate, themselves.
The guide provides a directory of the types technologies, processes and facilities that each organisation specialises in, including:
Automotive Motors & Actuators
