Birmingham-based Studio Victoria facilitate the reduction of carbon emissions by providing their clients with data-driven Digital Twins that can receive information from any third-party smart sensor, promoting a more efficient heating and cooling of the buildings.
Virtual replicas of physical objects or systems that data scientists can use to run simulations to optimise deployment of devices or technology for peak efficiency.

Studio Victoria are targeting their innovation at the Construction, Property and Energy sectors, with a particular focus on Facilities Management. Yet the cutting-edge nature of their innovation presents a number of challenges in communicating their value proposition to potential customers.
Studio Victoria want to validate and further refine their existing customer segmentation, determine the right business model for those different customer segments and develop clear and simple offerings, so that their value propositions make sense and appeal to both clients and potential investors.
The Innovative Solution
Energy Systems Catapult is home to the Energy Launchpad, which provides carefully selected innovators with tailored business incubation and acceleration support to help address barriers to growth, de-risk innovation, scale-up the business and secure investment.

The Energy Launchpad will help develop the compelling use cases and associated value proposition for several customer types, including social landlords through collaboration with Place for People, to enable Studio Victoria to target initial customer acquisition and establish a beach head market. This will include the development of the business model, corporate structure and financing options.
