At Energy Systems Catapult, we want to bring innovative companies together and to highlight the UK’s capability in emerging and established sectors. So that we can have visibility of companies across the energy spectrum, we produce themed landscapes and map out individual innovators and other organisations by category. We encourage innovators to view the landscapes and let us know if we are missing organisations or whether any companies should be mapped differently.

The landscapes are available to download from Energy Launchpad, a digital gateway for SME energy innovators. Energy Launchpad members include energy innovators, investors and other organisations who work or invest in the energy sector.

Energy Systems Catapult is highlighting the work of innovators working to transform the energy system as we move to Net Zero.

Innovators can use the landscapes to identify complementary offerings, which when working together, could create integrated solutions. The landscapes can also be used to identify potential competitors and crossover of products and/or services.

The landscapes provide Investors and Corporate Organisations with a high-level view of UK companies operating within different sectors of energy and a tool to identify new companies in the space/companies they have not engaged with.

The landscapes provide UK Government / UK Stakeholders with tools to highlight the UK strengths/capabilities in different sectors of energy and the ability to identify relevant companies for events/opportunities/projects.
