By acting as an honest and independent broker, the ESC can identify and facilitate links and collaboration between academia, SMEs and industry that can accelerate innovations to market.

The ESC collaborates with all levels of government, wherever in the UK (including government departments, devolved government, combined authorities, local authorities or Local Enterprise Partnerships), or indeed overseas, to support energy systems innovation in the UK.
