Energy Systems Catapult is home to the former Energy Technologies Institute (ETI)
Welcome to the Energy Technologies Institute legacy archive
This archive contains all reports and works from the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI), which are no longer being updated and are provided for reference only.
About the ETI
The Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) was established in 2007 as a public-private partnership between global energy and engineering companies and the UK government. It played a key role in bridging academia, industry and government to accelerate the deployment of low carbon technologies.
ETI brought together engineering projects that developed affordable, secure and sustainable solutions to help the UK meet its long term emissions reduction targets, while delivering nearer term benefits.
Acquisition by Energy Systems Catapult
In summer 2024, Energy Systems Catapult became the new home to ETI’s legacy reports and resources. These insights continue to support efforts to increase energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the UK’s energy and climate change goals.
